I’m having something of a mini Pamela Anderson revival in my head st the moment. She was such a big inspiration to me growing up (from childhood to my early twenties). She was such an icon of her era (and still is), and for many ‘set’ the standard of beauty and was the poster girl for ‘enhanced girls’ everywhere. I was odd for being a Pammie devotee and being a girl; my brothers were very much team Cindy Crawford. For such a long time she was the most photographed woman on the planet and has had many amazing photo shoots and roles in film and TV over the years. I had posters all over my walls of Pamela Anderson as a teenage boy.

Me and a mate of mine went to see Barbwire in the cinema when it came out and to my great surprise it was mostly girls that were there to see it. Pamela Anderson may have been an inspiration for many of them, but I mainly think its because they expected lots of guys to be there.
