Ok, so I've debated back and forth all day on sharing this with you guys. The last 24hrs have been emotionally exhausting, and I kind of hate myself today.

See, that's the thing about depression. You can have good days, but you always pay for them. When your mind is both the prison and the warden, it'd hard to do much more than survive.

That's been my life for the last few years. Surviving, but not living. Over the last few months I have fought so hard to get back to a point where I feel like I am living again. And I'm getting there. My good days out number the bad ones now. But last night and this morning were very bad. Thanks to a couple people who I won't name here, I'm smiling now. But this picture was taken when I first woke up this morning, and was feeling like there was no point.

Hey! Anyone else just have the most Monday-ish Monday ever? Lol

This day has been sooo long! Work was crazy, people were grumpy, and it just seemed like it would never end! But I made it!

The weather has warmed up which makes me oh so happy, and I can't wait to enjoy it on my day off tomorrow. Of course, I also plan on doing my taxes tomorrow, so I might not enjoy it that much after all, lol.

I know you all have been asking after my pillows (not sure why, they are pretty average) so I figured, give the people what they want! Enjoy!

I can see the edge of your cheeky smirk at the edge of your pillow, and your eyes sparkle. Such a tease.

That wake up pic is awesome and in spite of your words on your Monday (profound btw), it looks like a hint of a smile. The contrast of the blackbird against your skin and imagery of its presence against your words and thoughts add up to a profound statement. Makes me want to curl up beside you and just lay there as mayhaps we fall back asleep pushing off the day for a while. I always try to start my day with a stretch, a smile, and a shower, it let's my mind wake slowly. Thank you for sharing.

Definitely the pictures! There is something about your look that is so multifaceted that I can’t and don’t want to look away. I imagine in real life you get long looks, people who can’t keep eye contact with you but keep trying because there is something entrancing but intimidating about your eyes.

Definitely the pictures! There is something about your look that is so multifaceted that I can’t and don’t want to look away.
