I've been waiting for someone to post something about the report that a Trump-appointed adviser over-ruled the standing FBI experts who refused 30+ security clearances. When Kushner's application for higher security was sent to the CIA, they responded by saying WTF - why was he even given Top Secret clearance?

How can national security decisions be so easily influenced by politicians? Would you trust any politician to keep a secret or take a bullet for you? Of course, we don't know what secrets Kushner and others have seen or what they have done with that knowledge and I'm sure they're doing an amazing job, many many of them doing amazing amazing things...
Traditionally it was the Brits whose security was full of communists and spies. I guess if you have a president who begged the Kremlin to spy on other presidential candidates in his campaign, you get what you voted for.
