Vonn May Be In Too Much Pain To Keep Skiing

CORTINA D’AMPEZZO, Italy (AP) — What was evident all weekend for Lindsey Vonn became clear to everyone else on Sunday.

The American skier’s surgically repaired knees simply don’t let her apply the power she requires to win races anymore.

The pain is too severe; the psychological impact too much to bear; her pride too great.

No wonder that Vonn is considering moving up her retirement...

Post Xmas I have unpleasant pains in my fingernails, shins and shoulder, and everywhere, so back to the clean eating I go...

I'm ridiculously impressed and entertained by the diet tracking aps with food recognition. Point, click, and my phone will tell me I've got an apple and this is its nutritional value. The Ape thinks it's lame, that I'm snapping every meal, but I just can't help but be amazed how far technology has come. I remember pong. Pong!
 
Sometimes I forget why people are on ignore.
But not usually for long.

It was absolutely gorgeous to see though (the super moon, not your grumps). It's -2 degrees here though right now so we had to bundle up for the 15 minutes we managed to stay outside and watch.

Very sad how the blurt thread is so slow. The what i might cook next thread. Such a shame.
