███████████ Mueller Investigation Results Thread ███████████

Which is my point exactly. So far no credible media outlet has substantiated this rumor. Yet the TDS sufferers are running with it like it's money in the bank.

It gives us something to talk about. Where's the harm?

Anybody paying attention to the Barr hearings?

He's doing very well so far IMO. He seems to be honest in his answers and knowledgeable about the law. I know it shouldn't be that much of a surprise considering his career history but he is such a stark contrast to almost every other Trump appointee, I find it refreshing.

IMO this is more evidence that the report is just about wrapped up. It is a slow drip of damaging information to minimize the "shock" on society. Neither of those articles required in depth investigation, just one person to say, "here, run with it" or even authorize the release of something the papers had for a while.

Probably just wishful thinking but it helps keep me entertained between self-love sessions. :D

He's slick and has been around long enough to know what to do/say/not say at a confirmation hearing--especially one where the votes are already in the bag. Hope he's smart enough (in contrast to Whitaker) to know where the Trump thing is headed and to know how to sidestep it rather than falling on his sword for someone who isn't going to do a damn thing for him in the process and who guilty a sin.

When you want the media to do your dirty work for you, you don't leak to 1 source with a damaged journalism reputation.

Mueller isn't stupid. He's been around in DC a long long time. If he wanted to soften the impact of a report that says there's nothing there there, he'd be leaking all kinds of stuff to everyone. Some of this to that outlet, some of something else to another. Yet what we have in ONE journo saying his ANONYMOUS SOURCE is telling him the Mueller report is going to be a nothing burger and NOTHING ELSE.

So, not very believable. But a nifty way to try to stay relevant in the media world is to claim you have inside info no one else has. Provided by an anon source too.

Uh huh. Yay, winning!

So let's take this from the top.

Trump is holding firm on the border wall and Polls indicate support for his position is growing (something like +10 pts which is a HUGE jump). That means support for Paleosi's position is shrinking. Rapidly.

Anonymous sources are said to be now saying that the Mueller report is a nothing burger. (Which I don't personally believe but hey, it's in the news cycle. Or was.)

The NYC Times just released an article the other day about how the FBI began an investigation into the President "as a check on him" while acknowledging that the Russia thing had nothing behind it.

The economy is good.

Jobs are up.

Wages are up.

And so on.

Sounds a LOT like "winning" to me. And to a lot of other people too.

Gates' sentencing hearing delayed again as he continues to cooperate in several ongoing investigations. MAGA, at least not for a while.

The meaning of that clause has been twisted to the point where foreign officials spending the night in a Trump hotel amount to a violation. That's ridiculous.

That is not at all ridiculous, if Trump is using his office to drum up business for his hotels. That's an emoluments-clause violation.

Right. No one ever heard of these two-star flea bag Trump hotels until he was elected president.

But on the other hand, if these same foreign officials, dignitaries, legates, signatories and other luminaries from other lands were staying at Trump hotels or a specific Trump hotel years before he took office and before he even considered running for office, the emoluments bullshit (and it is bullshit because it's not emoluments anyway) becomes even more weak.

Is there anything this jackass could do that would turn you off?

Jeezus..
