I'm a really lazy drinker. I'm not sure where the time went but it's been about seven months or so since I imbibed. I should probably start going to AA meetings just to brag.

Up early, for no good reason. Woke up to pee and didn't go back to sleep. The brain started running.


There's not much to do today except to take this crap I bought at the blue box store to the job and install a bit of it, and yell at people to install the rest of it. Be blowing out of there at lunchtime. Snowmageddon II arrives tomorrow sometime - I think - gotta check the foreski . . . I mean, forecast.


Coffee is better'n beer.


 
Morning Wat.

Woke to rain, sneaux, and freezing fog, mostly rain though. A little too warm for any serious sneaux. The mountains all have winter storm advisories up so they're getting dumped on. GOOD!
 
Yeah, it's looking like the nasties are coming your way. Might think about getting the powers that be to invest in some cables for that ride you got.
 
The more I think about it, and the more I look into what is forecast, it looks like I can dodge this pretty much. Basically, I'll be housebound Sunday.


My plan was to get some shit done inside, so . . . .


As long as the power doesn't go out, and I'm urban, so we keep power very well in spite of our old infrastructure.


Off to crack the whip on the weasels . . . .


 
Well, keep your eye on the weather. Out here the weather forecasts are notoriously unreliable WRT to the timing. It'll slip, or accelerate, by hours to days depending on how far out the forecast is.

As far as the shit hitting the fan, that will not happen until the Blue Sanctuary/Public Union States demand that the rest of us pay for their failed dreams (for ostensibly not having done our fair share). It will be interesting to see what happens fi Justice Ginsberg continues to have health problems. She might be like Justice Marshall who once said something like if I die, prop me up so that SOB cannot name a replacement...

I have gas, game, ammo and medical supplies, but I find it hard to think that snowflake violence will find me this far out. If it does find me, it's not going to like what it finds.

In important news, Mecca has been hit by a plague of locusts. I think that Yahweh is sending them a warning message, but that could just be me.

We might get some snow, but it won't be around long or stay to the north of us giving us a light rain. I'm betting on the latter and that once again, the local news is not so much giving me the weather, but selling commercials.
 
It's hard to say what the 'triggering' event will be, if indeed it is just one. I tend to believe that there is going to be "one last straw" even though it would most probably be a cumulative effect. What may unfold may not be what more than a few would envision. I don't think that the people that live in the big coastal cities realize exactly how close they are to starvation.

Luk is a lot like the current President.

Needs constant attention and praise, even if he has to give it to himself in the third person; rails at his self-invented "enemies" with "insults" that always show how little he knows etc etc.

Hard to imagine what the triggering event might be, but was have a class who are constantly triggered and might go batshit crazy should the notorious RBG go down for the count.
 
Here's the thing, Lance... Everything that you've so desperately wanted out of the Lit, I've got in less than half the time here and people still talk to me like a human being instead of the way they look down on you like the piece of shit you are. Oh, and I saw the jar Laurelle keeps your balls in. Well, it's more of a thimble, and they are more pebbles than balls, but still.

Who cares? They congregate and any activity will be localized and uncoordinated. For the most part the local police will deal with that (except in Portland it appears).
 
If they have enough hispanic faces in the crowd, I think many officers will be as hesitant to engage them as did the #HandsUpDon'tShoot movement forced them to stand down in the African-American community.

So much the better. Just as the inner city riots of the late 60's through 1980 set back civil rights so too will any damaging activity they engage in. They won't be winning any hearts or minds.
