The Living Works of Art Challenge II - Female Body Edition

You are here learning about art, right?!

I've always been a storyteller, like my Polish great-grandmother, like my (keeper of the legends and tales) Mohawk grandmother. I used to spend time at a NY state museum and look at the paintings and think of stories that were behind it, or what me, as a teen, could write/tell about it, what story did it inspire.

"A picture is worth a thousand words." There are some paintings that are worth a 15K novella.

And what story to do you see today with me?

She stood in front of me, hands on her hips. I couldn't see the disappointment I knew she had for me, for being an hour late.

"I didn't hire you to come to my office whenever you feel like it." There was a bit of disdain in her voice.

She was right. I was hired to give her timely updates and I, instead, decided to take a lunch at the diner. "I'm sorry," I began my apology, my gaze down at my feet, my black leather Fedora in my hands. There were more words, but she cut me off.

"Don't let it happen again." She sat behind her desk. "And, what have you learned?"

There was so much news to give her. I had, indeed, found her missing jewelry, I had found the identity of those who had taken it and for what reason. I just didn't know where to begin, afraid not of her, but scared of disappointing her.

My client was lovely, a woman whose beauty was only superseded by her confidence and self-awareness. I knew why she had been turned down by the other agencies in town: She was demanding. I also heard that several others were scared of working for such a beauty. If I had any sense, I would have declined, too, but when you're behind on the rent and haven't paid your secretary for three months, you can't be too choosy.

I decided to start at the beginning, give her the best of news, or what I thought she wanted to hear most. "The necklaces are at your sister's."

I'm intrigued. Tell me more! Maybe PM ;) :rose:

I am reviving this thread because I miss it...

I shall be attempting this on work from home Friday, any ladies care to keep me company?

Oh I remember this from back in the day, some great pictures to be seen! 💋

I don’t think I did much more than lurk here originally as the suggestions were often a little more exposing than I was comfortable with - so I am selfishly reviving with the sort of pose I might manage pull off... then it can revert to the gorgeous bodies that better suit classical art,

By the way - there’s a gents gallery... hint hint...
