Someone I know (female 16 at the time) started a relationship with s significantly older man. The difference being her parents knew about the relationship.
Now happily married tens of years later what was the harm?

I think 16 is still a child and I think there is something mentally subnormal about grown men in their thirties, forties and beyond, who want sexual relations with a child...

A lack of emotional maturity perhaps...

I should have added (before we provoke the ire of the mods, that irrespective of whether the parents know and condone the relationship... IT'S ILLEGAL. (Sort of)(small print) (it's morally wrong)(but you can get married at 16 - it this country- with parental consent)
