Can't decide how to have your eggs... You're the runaway bride!

I was just about to say "As you wish" ... realised that's Princess Bride, not Runaway Bride. Wasn't that Julia Roberts?

I'd rather watch The Corpse Bride ... ooh, there's an idea.

Is it weird that I am taking a odd pride in not knowing anything about runaway or princess brides?

Bit heavy for me just now BUT tube suggested I also listen to Little Mix. I think I will stick with Mama Cass

I’m way to too old to be into Little Mix, but I do rather adore their performance at the Brits a couple of years ago, mostly for the bit from 3.10

Good for them, sexy, strong, confident young women, x

Digression...

You know you’re getting old when you’re first thought on seeing a pic like this is how long before your knees give up on you...

Even so, I quite like it... I never used to like collars, there is something extra humiliating about being collared for a woman like me - I am not a yes sir, no sir type of submissive... but I increasingly find myself thinking I perhaps could for the right man...

Didn't she do 'Show Me Heaven'? I know that one.

I'm almost scared to share my musical delights!!

She did! For a long time she wouldn’t play show me heaven at live gigs because it was the least Maria song she did and she was quite resentful of the success in an odd way. She also wrote Feargal Sharkey‘s A good Heart which she didn’t play for similar reasons. Last time I saw her live she did both beautifully and I rather love that she has finally reconciled herself with them...

You can’t say you are too scared to share then not share... we’ll assume the worst... :D

You’re amongst friends, x

My current musical squeeze! Gentleman, you might want to click off the screen while *listening* ... the music is awesome, and as for Emily ... *fans self*. I've met her IRL and she is an absolute gem to talk to. (Her and Max have gone on my: must have to dinner list)

First time hearing her/hearing of her. A bit of a feminine Nine Inch Nails feel to it. Thanks for sharing it.
About half of what AP shared wasn’t available for download in the US.

What? Boo! Did it at least let you play Maria McKee’s absolutely barking stars? One of my all time favourites...

Yes. Excellent choice. Also love the Tori Amos...of course. I will correct myself and say that the ones I said weren’t available for download, were actually not available for viewing. Just wanted to use the correct language.

I think we need your jukebox choices...:cattail:

Tori is pretty darn good. Saw her in concert over ten years ago, on the Beekeeper tour. Weird gig: the first one I've had to sit down at ... weird! She got pissed at some guy in the crowd and stopped playing. Kudos!

Saw her in the summer of 1992. Small room. About six rows from the stage. Her voice, her presence, her talent...just mind blowing. Everyone seated the entire show.

You’re too cool for school :cattail:

I haven’t listened to Fiona Apple in ages - that’ll be what I’m doing in my hotel room tonight

I know we discussed Eddi Reader before but she really is wonderful, and she tours regularly here often playing really intimate venues, and frequently with the gorgeous Boo Hewerdine. She one of those performers that litters the show with stories or history - very magical experiences, xx
