We differ greatly here. I would seek a repeal of the 2nd Amendment and make firearms available only to military and law enforcement personnel.

Well, yes. Here, I am friendly with everyone. Some have their own prerogative of what a friend is and who fits the criteria for friendship. In the big scope of things, being friendly and welcoming is nice. When that friendliness drops with not much said to the other, there is a separation based on preferences. I learned it's ok for that to happen. Not everyone will like me, for whatever reason. Still be respectful and decent. Make sure the person I strive to be matches actions presented and be the best me possible.


What actions have you taken to live out one of the qualities you possess? Example, I believe in random acts of kindness. I take measures to commit at least one per day even if it is giving someone a smile, a compliment or even acknowledging their existence saying hi.

Well, yes. Here, I am friendly with everyone. Some have their own prerogative of what a friend is and who fits the criteria for friendship. I try to be kind, mostly that’s acknowledging people, really simple things like looking a cashier in the eye and saying thank you.

The town things are more like chamber of commerce, community center board, etc. I am active in other ways, but positions like those would require me to interact with people that I don’t like and I’m not a good faker. Typically these would be my in-laws, so they're my wife's responsibility. I usually pretend I need to get something from my bedroom and never come back.
