Dermot Cole doing the pipeline story?

A decent journalist he is, but damn, talk to someone who designed and built the thing. There are still a few left.

But, it's located in Spenard......

And Spenard is bonafide weird.

So this Tommy person just wants to make the weird feel normal for a while, and give everyone a place to experience happy taste buds?

He sounds like a fine, benevolent fella.

"BIRD CREEK ANGLERS ~ BEAR WARNING

Brandon Younkins has sent me a warning about a bear situation this morning at Bird Creek. He and a friend were fishing there today with fish on the stringer in the water when a brownie showed up with a serious intent to run the anglers off their catch. They let the stringer flow down the creek but the bear continued to exhibit an aggressive/bold nature. A Park Ranger was in the area and scared the bear off into the vegetation and then put it down.

Bird Creek seems to have frequent encounters with bears visiting the area and becoming habituated to fish scraps and even stringers when they figure out they can run an angler off his catch. Some people in the past have not taken the presence of a bear seriously and found themselves in a nearly desperate situation.

Please be BEAR AWARE~! Don't leave fish scraps around the area. Don't leave your back packs or fish stringers where a bear can get in trouble wanting those easy pickings. This probably won't be the only bear in the area and they materialize very quickly if you are not watching for them. BE SAFE. Thanks Brandon for the heads up."

Tommy is cool. One of his cooks loves to sing and sings while she's slinging burgers and phillies. It's a great time.

Poor bears, they are just adapting to the human presence!
