Time has a tendency to pass and we forget things. In 1996 22 people were convicted of illegal contributions to the DNC campaign of Bill Clinton. The ringleader was a Chinese business man who funneled Chinese government provided funds through cut-outs to donate to the DNC to the tune of 2 million dollars plus. The money itself came straight from the Chinese government, including 300K from the head of Chinese Military Intelligence, with the stated intention of helping Bill Clinton win the election. Fortunately, they were caught and the DNC was forced to return the money.

In the most recent round of elections, Terry McAuliffe got caught accepting 200K from a Chinese company, owned by a delegate from the Chinese government. Additional while Clinton was at State and into the election run up the Clinton Foundation accepted multi-million dollar donations from Chinese nationals and Chinese companies.

I never knew about it.

I'm not doing these to shit stir, tbh I often find many of the GB "Trump good versus Trump bad" fights to be quite retarded. On both sides of the political spectrum.

It was based in truth--the hypocrisy of what the Republicans will see as legitimate to do to the Democrats that they would scream bloody murder if it was done to them.

In fact, we need no more evidence that the Russians worked to get Trump elected than that they hacked away at the Democratic e-mails and used them and we didn't see anything like that happening with the Republican e-mails. It certainly wasn't because the Republicans have had cyber protection than anyone else does. Duh. (Bet you won't get this either.)
