60 years ago "we're America bitch" might have been the basis for sound foreign policy. In the modern world where most first world countries are our equals (and exceed us when they partner up), it's the basis for us getting kicked hard in the teeth.

I guess if your idea of "strength" is provoking fights just to hit something without any real purpose, then Trump is your guy.

But if you value diplomacy, cooperation, strong intentional alliances, and negotiated agreements that can be trusted years later, then you've really got to question the direction Trump is taking this country.
