How To Get To Heaven When You Die

Celebrated my 30th Anniversary yesterday. Thanking God for his presence to keep me from breaking the Thou shall not kill commandment these 30 years. (Lol just kidding). I keep him guessing though. My favorite channel on TV is investigative discovery. It has all these murder mystery shows like 20/20 and Dateline. He always says I'm trying to figure out how to kill him and get away with it.

There's the Book of Mormon, which was found in a mountain, or rather, a hill.

The problem with this argument is that there is zero evidence of her deity, but there is a MOUNTAIN of evidence supporting the God of the Bible.

First of all, the Bible IS credible evidence since it was written by the eyewitnesses who were actually there. I think that holds a ton of weight now don't you?

With that said, there are dozens of secular writings regarding Jesus Christ that do collaborate the eyewitness testimony of the Bible. Would you like to see some?

That's not how any of this works. If your god exists, then it exists. You wouldn't need the ancient writings of ignorant goat herders and slaves as evidence. The "evidence" would be direct observation of said god. It would be no different than observing a hill, a cloud, or the color blue.

The mystery would be how and why your god exists. But until we have an observation that doesn't rely on invisible voices or ancient writings or feelings or the imagination, there's no point in acting as though your god is anything other than another man made deity.

The failure of Lord {JHWH} to inscribe PI=3.14156 across the face of Luna is evidence of that deity's nonexistance. Secondhand words from oral traditions are flimsy. But the lonely and weak find invisible friends wherever they can. Sad.

You're right. We can't prove empirically that Christ lived, died, and rose again. But then we can't prove empirically that George Washington was the first President of the United States either. In other words, we can't devise a repeatable experiment capable of demonstrating these facts in a controlled laboratory environment. But that doesn't mean that there isn't plenty of forensic and historical evidence to support them. Far from it.
