Day 23: Look at you <3

I missed a day.
It was a not terribly shiny day for me yesterday, I didn't have anything good to say to myself, and that's ok too.

This is going to be a hard one for me.
Look at yourself in the mirror and instead of being critical, pick something you like.
Then remind yourself that you are an amazing person.
Say it outloud.

Day 24: Go to bed early tonight

It's the weekend, and you may have fancy plans and if you do that's ok, you should keep them and enjoy yourself.
But if you don't, why not put yourself to bed early tonight?
Why not get some extra rest?
You work hard and you deserve it.

Sometimes it's hard and there are things we don't want to do, or are afraid to do, but we have to do them on our own.
We are the only ones that get to write our own story.
Make sure you're starring in it and not just watching it happen.

People give out compliments, regularly.
I struggle with accepting them because so often compliments feel like lies.
I have been practicing giving sincere compliments, because they really can make someone's day.
It's harder for me to accept a compliment.
So I've been practicing just saying thank you.

Today, message someone with a compliment.
Don't be creepy. Don't be weird. Feel free to link this post if you want to or feel you need to, but pick someone you want to say something nice to.
Give them a compliment. Something you mean.

And if you get one today, thank them. And believe it.
