I love Wait, wait don’t tell me on NPR.
What about Ted talks, a fan or no?

A fan....I've only seen a few of them that have been sent to me, but every one of them was fascinating.....good stuff...

Do you look forward to any public broadcasting shows, like Nova?

I like this show on PBS called The Chef and the Farmer (i think that is the name of it)

If you had to pick only one genre of music to listen to for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

What’s the largest crowd you have ever talked to?

Damn...you all are amazing...

For me I think it's in the neighborhood of 500.

But it's been a long time...More recently/typically it's been 300ish.

What was the scariest situation you've ever found yourself in?

"We have encountered a situation that will require us to make an unscheduled landing. Please remain seated with your seatbelts fastened. Flight crew please prepare for landing"

It ended up being minor. The landing was fine, but in those moments, which were shortly after 9/11 no one knew what was happening and it was terrifying.

What is the best surprise you ever received?

Finding out I was three months pregnant with my son ---my daughter was only five months old at the time. SURPRISE!!

What's the worst gift you've ever received?

Do you have any phobias?

I think I have a health fear of heights....aaaannnd I may have some peculiar trust issue....

My children.. they're bright and resilient.. and each of them has become an individual who is brave enough to acknowledge who he is.

What is the last thing that made you question your own judgement?

Awesome answer! Totally not what I expected, but yeah....I could say the same thing! Thanks! :rose:

Buying an electric guitar...LMAO....(Cherry Red...it's cheaper than a Red Corvette).

What was the last time you felt butterflies in your stomach?
(And do you hate those commercials???)

Butterflies? It was the last time I had lunch with someone in town on business...he always gives me butterflies (and it's really just lunch!)

When's the last time you cried?

Really cried? I think it was August.

Kind of got...a little verclempt? Um...yesterday....

Is it OK for men to cry?

Absolutely...I mean it shouldn't be part of every reaction you have (for me it a defense mechanism) but there are certain moment in life that emotion is so overwhelming and crying is a way to release that emotion.

Aggressive behavior. Loud. Condescending. And sharp.

How do you deal with difficult people?

It depends... Professionally, with humor and sincerity to diffuse the situation because I have to. Personally, likely with pointed sarcasm and if need be an aggressive stance that lets them know, this isn't going to go down the way you think it is.

If you're cooking to impress someone, what's your go to, knock it out of the park dish?

Baked ziti with homemade sauce...it's the one thing I can actually cook...now I would really impressed them with the baking part :)

When you are wrong do you admit it or try to still fight it?

Funny...your approach is the same as mine...except I don't do the first one...I just do the second one...everywhere...(it's good to be king...;) ).

Made to order omelettes....or better still...let me make one that I think you'll love...

I'm working on this. I have a difficult time with it. I've gotten a lot better as I've matured and felt more secure in my self.

Can you change a flat tire?
