May sound stupid but, how do you attach a pic or video from the internet into a post?

Grab the link to required item, then above where you type click on the little globe and paste the link

Into a post...

First way...image somewhere on the internet

1. copy the location of the image you want.
2. click on the icon of the mountain with the sun
3. paste the location URL into the dialog box
4. click okay

Second way...image on your machine(and you own the image copyright)

1. below the box you type your post, there is an Attach Files section. Click on manage attachments button
2. in the dialog box type in or browse for the image
3. click upload
4. click the link to get the image location
5. copy the image location
6. follow step 2 - 4 first way instructions.

Warning: there are limits of the size of images in the second way. Read them carefully, they are on the manage attachments dialog.

Now if you are talking about a Private Message this is only one way to attach an image...the first way. It must live somewhere on the internet to be used.
