Good morning Texas!
Talk of spring training is bring tears and smiles.. Babygirl had been in isolation for weeks, she badgered the doctors to let her get into a wheelchair for a trip out of her room. So she got all dressed up in her yellow paper outfit and we went outside to sit in the sun. She slipped her socks off and curled her toes into the grass while sniffing the clump of grass I pulled for her, face turned up to the sunshine while we just sat and listened to the sounds of the game at the spring training field across the street.. I don't remember the teams playing that day in Scottsdale AZ but the look of contentment on her face.. one of my favorite pictures from that period in my life..
