Carter Page has never "had any direct contact with Trump in any form" in his life

Former President Donald Trump campaign adviser Carter Page confirmed during a Tuesday interview that he has never spoken to Trump in his life.

When asked if he ever had any direct contact with Trump in any form — such as a phone call, email, letter or a text — Page told ABC’s “Good Morning America” that he has never communicated with the president, and continued to deny reports that he worked with the Russian government.

“I never spoke with him since. I never spoke with him any time in my life,” Page said when asked by ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos.

“No emails, no text no nothing like that?” Stephanopoulos asked.

“Never,” Page responded.

:D Huh. No practical connection to Trump whatsoever.

Because all those emails he sent to the campaign trying to set up a meeting between the con artist and Russian agents was no connection whatsoever.

In his interview with Tapper, Page also confirmed that before going on the trip he mentioned his plans to travel to Russia to then-Sen. Jeff Sessions as well as "a few people" on the Trump campaign.

When Tapper asked if Sessions, now the US attorney general, was "the only one on the campaign that knew about the trip," Page replied: "I mentioned it to a few people."

Page and Sessions were among several people affiliated with the Trump campaign who engaged with Kislyak while in Cleveland, including at the lunch, which was part of a State Department-funded initiative to bring foreign ambassadors to both political conventions, Gordon said. "The Trump campaign advisers were there to interact with the ambassadors, just like [the ambassadors] were interacting with the Democrats in Philadelphia the next week," Gordon said. "That was the whole point of the program."

Page told the committee he was invited to speak in Russia after joining the campaign -- a similar pattern to foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos, who was approached by a professor connected to the Russian government after the professor learned he was advising the campaign.

In the interview, Page says that he sought permission for his trip ahead of time and asked for advice about his remarks at a university, and afterward he offered to provide a readout to the campaign. Page also floated the idea that Trump travel to Russia in his place to give an Obama-like foreign speech.

The two dumbass progressive/socialist/Democrat partisan hacks in thread fully explain all the clamor currently going on for more educational affirmative action for obviously disadvantaged females.
