Log-Out New Control Panel Question

I've noticed that the New Control panel login page is a "verified site" on my Firefox. However, once I get to the Lit Forum page, it is an "unverified site", and Firefox indicates; "Connection Not Secure".

First off, I'm not real sure what this even means...I mean, I understand the words, but not the full meaning/implication of it.

Second, I'm wondering if it's best to log-off from the New Control panel? And if it has any merit, how to get back to it easily? (for example, I just logged-out of the New Control but on this tab I am still logged-in to the site.

Probably not a big deal, just wondering what some of the more tech savvy folks think.

It depends on the route you use to get to the control panel.

If you go via stories, the log-in page will start with https - a secure log in.

If you get to it other ways the page will show http - which Firefox considers as insecure.

Many parts of Literotica have changed to https but some haven't. That irritates Firefox.

Thanks, Ogg. Typically, I login on the "new login page". That opens up into my "control panel". After I have finished there, I usually choose Forum from the pull-down menu. But once I'm on the Forums, it's the "not-secure" web address. By the time I've wandered around here for awhile there's way too many back-steps to go back and log-out on the new control panel.

Just for fun, I opened two tabs; one for the new control panel log-in....and another for the Forum. I logged out of the "New Control Panel", but was still logged on in the other "http-Forum" tab even after a refresh? I guess I'm not smart enough to even know what that implies - haha!

I think you confirmed what I had assumed; the Forum just hasn't been changed to "https". I doubt it's much of a risk one way or the other...but I don't really know that for sure. Thanks for the input !
