Here on the east coast of the USA, I'm "enjoying" temperatures in the single digits. I'm sure places near me went below zero overnight.
Meanwhile, I'm watching ski racing from Switzerland. It's 45 degrees and raining.

Wow. That, and the frozen iguanas falling from trees we were talking about earlier in the week, not a good week for the reptiles.
And Black Eyed Susans taste gross. My opinion anyway. We Baltimore folks needed a drink to match the Mint Julep and they came up with that. They should keep trying.

Word on the street is the bitter cold is going away here on the east coast USA sometime this week. But today, there is also supposed to be freezing rain on those same streets.

Its been too bone chilling...Ive always loved the whimsy of winter and snow...but this year NO...too brutal...
I will never ever move in the Winter again...
Luckily though today it is supposed to be in the 30s here...a nice jump from negative numbers...I hope its true...

It was 15 below on Saturday night, the furnace had a hard time keeping up.
