What did you accomplish today?

I had a great day with MF at Brighton watching the carnival celebrating the 'burning of the clocks' and enjoying a lovely Mexican meal with drinks. :kiss:
 
Flanged up things that needed doing outside - changed a bunch of light bulbs that all decided to go out over the last week and treated fire ant mounds. Still 77 degrees today, in the 40's tomorrow. :rolleyes:
 
Went grocery shopping on my lunch break.

Outside of work it was all that needed doing today!
 
Well...I had great fun this AM playing around on here in the Cove.

(Tsk tsk...NO...not THAT kind of fun...well...sorta..:eek:)

Cleaned two bathrooms (and supervised the cleaning of a third).
(while listening to AC/DC, singing and dancing).

Make three batches of cookie dough and baked one of them all up.
The other two are in the fridge and will be baked up tonight.
 
went to the gym.. hitting goals

took a nice nap

didn't strangle my mail man, the only holiday package expected and it didn't arrive.. checked in with the office just as they were closing for the weekend and it was not in the pile of packages on the floor getting logged in.

And perhaps the biggest accomplishment it that I haven't cried in a couple three days. A miracle this time of year.

Not a damn thang.

But the day is not over. 4:28pm I'm mailing Christmas cards now (I bought them and they are going out, don't care it's received late dang it!!!)

Going to the grocery store to find food to cook, so no Doritos nor sweet bear claws to munch on, but will splurge on ice cream. I wonder what flavor...if they have it.
 
I was a functional human, for the most part of the day. Paid bills and did shopping.
 
Ha! For once, I did a lot! Grocery shopping, made a good dent in my 'bachelor as pig' messy home, played my guitar, recorded a song and sent it to a friend, who was way too kind in return, and spoke to a Lit friend on the phone for the first time. As we used to say in the late 70s, early 80s, (and I think there's a resurgence of the term lately) it was a 'bitchen' day.
 
I do believe that I got all of my Christmas shopping done, and I got a good chunk of everything wrapped.
