Ooo I like this.
Hollow Moon
The Hollow Moon hypothesis, or Spaceship Moon hypothesis, proposes that Earth's Moon is either wholly hollow or otherwise contains a substantial interior space. No scientific evidence exists to support the idea; seismic observations and other data collected since spacecraft began to orbit or land on the Moon indicate that it has a thin crust, extensive mantle and small, dense core, although overall it is much less dense than Earth.
What do you think about that theory?
I’m inclined to dismiss it based on the data collected.
I put substantial stock in science.
The fanciful part of my brain thinks a hollow moon would make a great hideout if we ever needed one.
Well the theory is it is an artificial body, placed to capture all extinction event meteors.
Conspiracy theorists say that the moon resonates like a bell when struck.
They also claim that for the moon to be exactly the right distance from the earth and the sun to create a perfect solar eclipse and lunar eclipse is so astronomically improbable, it is proof the moon was placed.
Me, I disagree.
I also disagree. The moon is a subject of such lore that it doesn’t strike me as strange that the conspiracy theorists would be as enthralled as the rest of us.
The moon controls quite a bit. Plus... there’s moonlight which has its own magic.

I do believe this is one conspiracy I can pass by without a second thought. Although it would be cool to hear...Conspiracy theorists say that the moon resonates like a bell when struck.
This I completely agree with.Plus... there’s moonlight which has its own magic.
Imaginings about the dark side...always a fave.but imagine the conversations you could have among friends about what's on the other side of the moon. The side we never see, the dark side....
Once a base has been established, people can begin inhabiting it on a full time basis to study the effects of weightlessness on a long term basis and begin genetically modifying select people to alter our DNA and physical make-up to handle the rigors of long term space travel.
This takes GMO's to an entirely new level...
It does, but in a necessary way. We would virtually die off in very little time the way we ware physically made up currently. Weightlessness is extremely detrimental to how we function and modifications are needed to achieve prolonged durations in space without physical deterioration. Our bodies are designed to live on Earth's atmosphere and need to be altered to adapt, so yes, we would become a GMO in essence.
I wonder if the "Twin Study" NASA did with Mark and Scott Kelly will offer insight into the necessity of humans as GMO's? As it relates to long-term residence in zero-gravity, that is.
The moon is definitely magical.
Its part of so many rituals. Moon magic is very powerful.
****Not that I'd know anything about that...****
Eg. Right now the moon is In Sagittarius. This is the best time to work magick for publications, legal matters, travel, and truth. Healing rituals for ailments of the liver, thighs, or hips are also done at this time.
But as I said, I wouldn't know anything about that.![]()
I'm fascinated by what it was like before civilization. I would love to see vistas and forests as they were years ago, in ancient time, long before cars, and electricity and buildings crowded what used to be.Just imagine what our ancestors thought about all that mystery in the sky when they lacked science to explain those giant lights in the sky.
People are always quick to talk about what an amazing time it is to be alive today but I kind of miss that not knowing, where anything is still possible. I'm 100% thankful for modern medicine but imagine the conversations you could have among friends about what's on the other side of the moon. The side we never see, the dark side....
The moon could be the Earth’s “storage shed out back” filled with the vintage atmospheres of yesterday-millennia

It could provide a basis for the need for human cloning, that designing one human successfully is easier than multiples and cloning that one in multiples ensures continued success.

I have about the same success rate as you, Tink. I try to follow some simple wisdom about things that happened yesterday. If it's happening, it's the present and anything can be done to achieve the outcome you desire. If it's in the future at any point, it hasn't happened and you have every chance to forecast the outcome of choice. If it's already happened, it's in the past and unchangeable. One must learn to accept those realities and learn from any mistakes. Sometimes, it's necessary to dwell on the past to fully understand all that happened, but it should only change the present in a positive way by learning from mistakes made and understood.
I find that gets me through some seriously tough times when it feels like the whole world and everyone in it sucks.![]()
I don't know much about GMO's in all fairness. It's a topic I've been meaning to look further into but haven't researched. I'd love to hear more.
Cloning, now that's a fascinating subject. I love the idea for medical purposes but it feels rather Frankensteinesque to me.
I've yet to determine if I'm for or against.
Then take that one designer-made human that's perfect for space travel and clone it to make up a crew that is trained for space. This promotes crew harmony, as only one person is interacting with itself and not another conflicting one.
Am I the only one that finds that I'm in conflict with myself quite often?
I am not sure a crew of myself would not self-destruct rather quickly.
Speaking of conspiracy theories, have you guys heard of The Convergence?
The idea is that magic is/has been real in the past, and that the laws of physics as we know them can change, evolve, in cycles Sometimes magic works, sometimes science works..etc.
The Convergence is when the magic comes back, and with it, the other races that once lived on earth. So imagine our world colliding with Middle Earth.
That sounds like an amazing concept for something I'd like to read. I haven't heard of it, and I am unlikely to put much stock in it, but it does point to the phenomenon that often occurs with lore.
Why do some legends occur over and over with no tangible evidence? Why do different cultures have similar stories despite existing in different regions with no overlap?
This would be an interesting explanation.
