There's a lot of factors that went into it. A lot of people took a chance on Trump because he was new and shiny, thinking he was for the middle class and was going to deliver on lower healthcare premiums, immigration etc. And he hasn't.

That's going to be problematic going forward. As it well should be. Lies do catch up with a person after a while. It's the way it is.
