Among US senior militray leaders and their wives last Thursday evening at the White House, the Tool made reference to "the calm before the storm." When questioned on exactly what he means by that, both then and since then the Tool has only offered, you'll find out, you'll see, or some such.

Tuesday, October 10, the Communists will celebrate their annual Korean Workers Party founding day, on or around which they've done some interesting things in the past, e.g.: on October 9, 2006, Communist North Korea detonated its very first nuclear device. Some observers have already been warning that the little midget might be planning something for this year, too.

But, Tuesday in Communist North Korea is Monday in America, and Sunday tomorrow the Tool might be thinking he can get a day up on rocket man...

Just wondering.

As if he hasn't already made a choice...

Trump Says 'Only One Thing Will Work' With North Korea

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday said "only one thing will work" in dealing with North Korea after previous administrations had talked to Pyongyang without results.

"Presidents and their administrations have been talking to North Korea for 25 years, agreements made and massive amounts of money paid," Trump said in a tweet. "...Hasn't worked, agreements violated before the ink was dry, making fools of U.S. negotiators. Sorry, but only one thing will work!"

Trump did not make clear to what he was referring. The president has previously said the United States would destroy North Korea if necessary to protect itself and its allies.

He may decertify the iran nuke deal. Either move is exceptionally stupid and dangerous, but both are things that the neocons who appear to have captured the Trump administration have been clamoring for for a long time.
I will note, however, that just as Trump's bellicose talk about North Korea has made a larger and larger part of the political establishment and the mainstream press talk against war there, his talk about decertifying the Iran nuke deal has already started the Israeli press talking about how that might be a really bad idea. He might just be giving his political enemies a dose of 'be careful what you wish for,' and when they are done pooping their pants and begging him to back off, world peace might just break out. Or, you know, some vague semblance thereof.

Will The Tool Do a Twofer?

The Donald is reportedly going to decertify Obummer's unconstitutional treaty with the Islamic Republic of Iran...

...I heard his spokesperson say either yesterday or today that the Tool and his team haven't been looking just at decertification, but an entire range of criminality the Tool and his team consider the Twelvers guilty of - including being both the biggest destabilizer and the greatest provider and exporter of terrorism in the entire middle east.

She said announcement of the Tools' Iranian intentions would be made in the next couple/few days.

Maybe he'll lob some nukes at North Korea, Iran, and just for fun, Puerto Rico.

Or for a switcheroo, target Cuba or Syria or Venezuela or China. Ah yes, aim at Pyongyang, miss it, hit Beijing instead. Oops. So sorry.

Trump's a wild card!
No one seems to know what he's doing.
I hope he's bluffing.

To answer the question asked in the title of this thread: No, unless they launch an attack on the US and/or allies. The nature of he response would remain to be seen. :(

He hasn't struck North Korea in a week, save maybe for angry tweets.

I wonder how this ends. And when.

How: Tromp enters the launch codes. Or tries, but is stopped in a military coup masked behind a 25th removal. Or suffers a stroke. Or resigns and takes refuge in Crimea.

When: Tomorrow. Or next week. On next month. Or a time we can't expect.

He's trying to out-crazy Kim. The idea is to put your opponent off balance by being unpredictable. Tillerson is playing the sane one in this good cop bad cop technique. Given that nothing has ever worked with North Korea I think that Tsun Tsu would approve under the circumstances..

That's assuming Trumps's threats are credible.

What if Trump's 'opponent' is not North Korea, but the neocon-dominated congress?

I figure it's increasingly the case, though his attempted seduction of Congressional Dems might not be going well.

Just put him and the NK brat in a cage and let them fight it over like a pair of sumo wrestlers. Peas of the same pod.

Interesting idea. Brinksmanship by out neoconning the neocons? "Oh really? You think YOU like endless war? I see your bet and raise you global thermonuclear war. . ."

Are you unaware that Trump is both Commander in Chief of the world's most advanced military, and only person with the nuclear launch codes?

Whether he's bluffing or not, whether or not Kim does or does not buy that bluff doesn't change the fact that he actually does have the power to wipe Kim Jong Un off the face of the Earth tomorrow if he should show choose.

Democrat fantasies to the contrary, he has that power at his bidding.

Kennedy was (probably) bluffing, but the Soviets chose not to call his bluff.

Obviously, DMBFFF get's his foreign policy advice from SNL.:D

That gutless wonder in Wash. DC will not do anything to have North Korea taken down.

If you are referring to Trump, I don't believe he will initiate action, but a missile fired at the US or US territory, among other places, will result in retaliation.

Playing Boy Scouts with hell fire missiles will not do anything.
