We saw our financial advisor this weekend. We talked about the upcoming mission to Haiti while she ran our numbers. Here's the crazy thing, when we got the numbers, we learned that when we reach 65 and retire, our income is going to go up.

First day in the new shop. There is no office in this one so we just taped off a space in the corner and it is now the office. It's going to take some adjusting. I didn't slack at a beach all weekend so the move and paperwork got done, now I can slack through the work week.

BTW dogs didn't slack either, the neighbours cat ended up in their run somehow and they herded it inside to me. If this keeps up I may just keep the critter instead of returning it.

It ain't ISIS, and it was full auto fire. It wasn't a sniper. It was a guy with a (at least one) full auto weapon. Either home-made or bought illegal-like. I pray to Allah that he wasn't a class 3 licensee. And Hillary tweeted at 10-something that if he'd had a silencer, it woulda been much worser. I wager it was a rifle cartridge, either intermediate or full-power ( dot three oh eight winchester). Looks like he was shooting too far to have had a lot of luck with a pistola round.


The FBI needed Ted Kazinski's brother to catch him for them. Same with the kraut on the sub to turn in the WW2 U-boat spies. They really struggle there to sove actual crimes. They had a guy inside on the '93 WTC bombing. I wonder what they knew before 9/11.

Instead, the notice outlines a number of issues that agency officials believe would give them the authority to bypass the RFS, including cheap imports of renewable fuel, inadequate domestic supply, and increasing costs for biodiesel and advanced (non-corn) cellulosic ethanol.

In addition, the notice points out that the agency can make adjustments under the guise of preventing “severe economic harm,” a provision already in the Renewable Fuel Standard. “In particular, we seek input on whether there is information indicating that severe economic harm is occurring under current standards or would occur for any volume requirement that could be established in the current rulemaking and, if so, whether and how volumes should be adjusted to address such harm.”
