Depends on what it's used for.

In the making of Comanchero brand, that's okay.

It's a good fuel and there's an entire batch of drag classes devoted to it, but it makes a lot fewer BTUs so you have to shove a lot more into the cylinder to get the car down the track and not blow pistons all over it.

I haven't read much on it past that . . . .

To all the women who are in a hurry to have a boyfriend or get married, a piece of Biblical advice: "Ruth patiently waited for her mate Boaz."

While you are waiting for YOUR Boaz, don't settle for any of his relatives; Broke-az, Po-az, Lyin-az, Cheating-az, Dumb-az, Drunk-az, Cheap-az, Lockedup-az, Goodfornothing-az, Lazy-az, and especially his third cousin Beatinyo-az. Wait for your Boaz and make sure he respects Yo-az!

How about Triflin’-az and Worfless-az?

:D

It is a tremendous waste of natural resources from the land required to grow it, the fertilizer dumped on it, the amount of water consumed in producing it and the difficulty and cost of transporting it because it likes to take on water.

;) ;)

Even worse is how much welfare our government gives to red states for them to grow it and to vote for the system that demands people use their product.

Boaz was a character in The Sirens of Titan.

What is up with kids? We hired two new ones. After they applied, submitted to our vetting process and passed their background checks...

... they didn't even bother to show up for their first day of work.

And it fucks up my carbs and I hate having to douche its residue out of everything so it'll still fucking run.

In other news:

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/10/0...lar-slaughter-texas-clock-tower-shooting.html

Las Vegas massacre recalls similar slaughter: Texas clock tower shooting, says the article. It's total press-created horseshit. Yeah, two shooters, high in a structure, shooting at those below. And there the comparison stops. Whitman was surgical. Assmunch was of the spray-n-pray school of shootery. His kill rate was so high because of volume of fire and the tight bunching of the people who composed his "target."

Leave it to the press (and the Libs) to get it wrong, over and over . . . .

The tower shooter was a Marine with a non-automatic weapon with a decentralized crowd.

;) ;)

Our starting pay is pretty doggoned good...

They finally found a picture of the shooter where he is not doing the My Name is Earl routine with the closed eyes...

Yes, he was a Marine, as immortalized by Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in Full Metal Jacket. I always found that scene amusing.

Now, Whitman was doing some sniping.

I still wanna know what Asshat was using for weapons. As I recall, it took 2-3 days for it to come out what Dungnugget was using in DC to wound Republicrats.

OKay, off to see the weasels, and to go yell at FedEx people live and up close. Or not . . . .

Some people just don't want to get up early or have set hours, good pay or not. They have other government options that let them work their own hours at less legitimate things.

Thankfully my crew are here and emptying the coffee pot.

From the reporting that I am seeing and reading, it was an AR that he modified.

Now it is also being reported that he had the two ingredients for the making of a McVeigh-style bombing which makes me wonder about the early reporting of how "organized" his attack was...

I am truly saddened to see that Tom Petty has passed. I swear by Buddha's big beautiful brass balls that bang a gong that I just watched The Postman yesterday afternoon, a movie in which he has a cameo...

You're famous!

Well, I used to be...

For the most part, these are college kids. They live in the moment.

We have one, who is on the firing line, who calls in sick every payday Friday...

I cannot wait to be rid of the little shit.

I've actually had good luck with the college temps we've hired. We go to the school employment office and advertise directly. When I've gone to the unemployment office and listed the results have been the opposite, adults who show up because they have to but they really don't want the work.

They aren't all bad, they're just getting worse.

The really good ones graduate and move on to careers...

Unsubstantiated reports are that he made his own conversion to full-auto. Not a trivial feat. Did he have help there?

Ishmael

I thought I heard a particular slowing down of the cycling rate that might indicate a bump stick type device installed on the trigger to produce a higher cyclic rate for a semi-auto weapon.

LOL...:D

I've seen a report that corroborates that.

If you listen to the audio of the shooting you can discern an unnatural slowing of the cyclic rate that indicates the possibility of a person getting tired of cranking the handle or losing his grip. They've made these for the Ruger 10-22 for years and I've seen them being used and this slowdown of the cyclic rate is common in users trying to crank that handle at a steady rate.

Home. I done et. I could use some seconds, but that ain't happenin'. I've managed to keep some pounds of for the last few weeks. I'm not even sure where I lost them, but I sure as Hell and Allah's dangling sac that I'm not going looking for them.

Yeah, it was a bit of a drag losing Tom. We always busted on it, singing, "you don't have to smell like a refugee . . . ." But he did several decent, catchy songs. He did know what a hit oughta sound like. I hope he didn't suffer. I guess he slowed down a little, maybe . . . .

The Postman? The fucking Postman??? Are you fucking serious??? THat's a movie you only confess to having watched because you were stoned and drunk and bored and it was all there was on TV cause all the other channels blew up. I own a copy on DVD . . . .

I'm playing Hell getting this job done, but I'm making headway, even if not at the pace the bosses want. A blade of grass grows one days' growth in one days' time, so . . . .

This Postman did ring twice.

I liked The Postman. I always liked his song Last DJ

Chinese food tonight, it was too long of a day to bother cooking and I was the only one here for dinner anyway.

I almost did Chinese and then I remembered - leftovers.

I loved these things as a young feller, but then I came to my senses and realized that a box-stock Road Runner would eat one alive. The old 396 wouldn't tolerate revs, and the 383 thought it was a small-block.

This one has mo' cubes . . . .
