Hey, papadoc!I've been busy turning the pedals today. 100 kilometres!
How's your weekend going?
My weekend has been very chill so far.
100 KM?

That's pretty much what it's like in the U.K., too.I think it improved some after we hosted the start of the Tour de France in 2014, but we have a long way to go!
A slight menace here in the Netherlands: people texting while they cycle along not looking where they're going!
Yes! Isn't that where the word 'sabotage' comes from? Chucking your wooden shoe in a machine to break it? Having tried them, I can't believe they can be comfortable for walking, however well they're fitted, because feet flex and bend when you walk. And wooden shoes, well, they ... don't!
I have much sexier shoes than that at home, anyway...![]()

Numi, you're not confusing hotels with upmarket brothels are you?

YEAH...only she and Mr H could cycle THAT far...you know they have MUCHO stamina![]()
You are quite correct on the reported origins behind the word sabotage. If I had to wear those things all day I'd chuck them at something too. But as I understand it you use a different style of walking with them.
I admire hotels and restaurants that exercise artistic style in showcasing the feminine form by means of decorative art on their premises.
Sadly, not much stamina for anything else afterwards!
Rest day today, though. Just saying....![]()

Hi Numi, a nice day ride that one, luggage on with you? Am envious, just spent a week fighting a chest infection and no cycling allowed ( nothing allowed one day, was so bad!) so am going to gently turn the cranks for about 16 miles - 28 km?? - today to get me back into it.
Trust HB has been looking after his duties towards all things saddle soreness??![]()
Just saying what?
I don't understand.
I'm going to need detailed explanations. With pictures. And diagrams. And graphs!
Morning.
(Well, not where you are, but it's the thought that counts)
Oh, that would be sooooo good... Had a day off today, so things are a little less ... stiff
Are you a good masseur, papadoc? (Do you offer any extras?![]()
)
Dining table report: yep, sturdy...
Today's wall art:

Not sure if those are rude or not![]()
Not a patch on the other two, I reckon. Maybe this could be a new TripAdvisor category? (Other review websites are available...)
Hey Numi, just a quick stop-by to say that I hope your trip is living up to your expectations!
Love the different wall art, are you buying souvenirs as you go? I loved buying art in Vietnam and having it shipped home, waiting for me.
Take care out there!![]()
Yes I am and for you of course
I hope your week is going well![]()
Nope, those aren't the least bit rude and remind me of some pieces like them I used to own. Hopefully the dining experience was a good one.
