Trump at Six Months - Record Low Approval Rating

The poll clearly shows the results as:
19% better than expected.
23% worse than expected
56% as expected
3% no opinion

So I have no idea where you are getting your numbers.

Raise your hand if you are a Democrat and expected Trump to do poorly.

☝🏻

I'll ask again: Has anyone seen a poll of voters who regret the vote they cast?

And I'll repeat: Tromp's popular-vote loss matters. Ten million more people voted against, not for Tromp. His approval rating is flatlining -- which means there's little popular support for whatever agenda he has. He hasn't the muscle to force legislators to commit political suicide by backing shit most voters hate. He doesn't scare Congress. He ain't got-em by the balls. Sad.

Soon Tromp will be as popular and effectual as Chris Christie. But with nukes.

Majority in U.S. Say Trump Performing About as They Expected
Overall, has Donald Trump done better than you expected as president, worse than you expected or about as you expected?
Better than expected Worse than expected As expected Other/No opinion
% % % %
U.S. adults 19 23 56 3
Republicans 37 5 57 1
Independents 18 25 53 4
Democrats 4 38 57 1
Gallup, April 21-22, 2017

So, I don't know who this HisArpy cat is, but it's moronically funny that he thinks as expected=an okay job. Do you really think 57% of Democrats polled think that Trump is doing an okay job?

Hardly any of the people who voted for Trump regret it. http://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/...st-abc-poll-do-you-regret-voting-trump-nr.cnn

But this is not the case with Silly Hilly. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ary-clinton-voters-do/?utm_term=.223faa2df7be

Google says back in January

New poll from Reuters says 1 in 8 Trump voters would change their vote.

Come April they said

When asked "if the 2020 presidential election were held today", 36 per cent say they would re-elect Trump, while 55 per cent would vote for someone else.

That may be true, but you can say the same thing about Hilly. More people voted against her than for her.

Which reminds me, did you read the transcript of his call with the ozzie PM? Jesus Christ, the man has the IQ of an amoeba.

Yes, it was hard to believe his utter lack of intelligence.

The man is a complete moron and an utter embarrassment.

That us exactly the opposite of winning the popular vote, cupcake. ;)

Although Hilly did receive a plurality of the pop vote, if you combine the vote of Trump and Gary Johnson, also a Repub., that total would be a plurality.

Nice try. Not really, though. If I do a handstand while closing one eye on a Tuesday Trump would still be the inept leader the majority of voters knew he would be.

That is astonishing

Only if you live in a fantasy world totally detached from reality.

Democrats expect anyone but whoever their current precious is to do poorly.

B'out as progressive as a pack of wild hyenas.

Who's not a partisan and expects every POTUS/Congress to be shit until we separate big money from big power??

Democrats and Republicans, that is exactly why his interpretation of that poll was so moronic.

Yes, really. Here are the totals:

Trump: 62,985,134
Johnson: 4,489,235

67,474,369

Hilly: 65,853,652

Try that edit again, cupcake. I was not disputing the numbers, just your ridiculous swiping at Hillary's popular vote win. It seems like you are having just as hard of a time getting over it as Trump is.

Take another look. All I'm saying is that Hilly didn't really win the popular vote, if you look at votes for party.

Redefining popular vote wins to rationalize a poorly performing president is bullshit. I mean really.

Oh, absolutely. I'm just expressing disagreement with those who seem to think Silly Hilly was a winner because she got a plurality of the popular vote.

I don't think you'll find anyone rational that believes Clinton won because she won the popular vote.

However I am amazed at how many people think that the reality of that win of the popular vote means nothing. Additionally that there is so much rationalizing against that popular vote victory by many conservatives. It's as if they think that by continually minimizing that popular vote victory, that Donald will suddenly become a better president.

Does it occur to you that your second sentence contradicts your other paragraph?

No it's very straight forward. She won the popular vote. I'll not coddle you by making the terminology to suit a reality you and many conservatives wish didn't exist. Clinton won the popular vote. She didn't win the election. If I had said electoral college victory there would be a contradiction.

She won the popular vote. More people voted for her than for any other candidate across both the primaries and in the general. She obviously isn't president.

See this is the stupid shit that loses you credibility.

I think it's his use of "Silly Hilly" that loses him credibility when discussing grown up topics. I may loathe Trump but I'm adult enough to call him by his name. Same goes with some of his supporters - I may not agree with their reasons for supporting him, but calling names only makes you look incapable of having a rational conversation.

I'm actually rather surprised you're even bothering to engage this individual. Must be a slow night on the Lit.

You are correct in that. I chose to ignore it. No need to sink to that level type of thing.

The lack of logic fries me. It's some stupid game of rationalization as if to appease an ego. It's ridiculous.

I'll try rephrasing.

Tromp won the electoral collage and thus the presidency. But he did so with a minority vote, and has suffered sharp drops in approval. He does not have the popular support needed to convince legislators in the party he supposedly leads to enact his agenda.

He won the office but, because his only gov't experience was in dispensing bribes and threatening blackmail, he doesn't know how to USE the office. He's a luzer -- and it's all of his own making. A President is not an individual but fronts a team that handles all that executive-branch stuff. Tromp did not build such a team and can't do the job.

Forget all this bullshit "But Hillary!" "But Obama" "But Deep State" stuff. Tromp holds the office and doesn't have the foggiest notion of what to do with it. Who'd have thought it would be so complicated? Pathetic...
