A recent, large-scale poll showed The New York Times and CNN being considered more trustworthy, by wide margins, than the Fox tabloid or the fake "news" site Breitbart.

According to the poll, the NY Times scored very well in the positive (i.e. trusted) category, while CNN scored slightly on the less trusted side. However, the tabloid and fake site scored well down the list of trusted sources with the tabloid being roughly three times less trustworthy compared to CNN, and the fake site, well, let's just say they're ranked just inside of outright lying.

A surprising part of the poll was how well both NPR and PBS scored. According to the results, those publicly funded news organizations scored effectively even with the BBC which itself ranked fourth in the poll. The top place was held by British-based The Economist, second was Public Television followed by Reuters, BBC, then the two public entities, the the Guardian (another British news organization), and finally the Wall Street Journal, LA Times and Dallas Morning News to round out the top ten most trusted news sources.

Box has to look far and wide to provide his misinformation.

No surprises in that for me. It's about what I would have expected.
