A former pastor of mine had a torrid affair with the unmarried church secretary. It was very scandalous when it all came out. He resigned and moved his family across the country.

Not only did his wife stay, she goes on and on about how great marriage is on social media. She's not an unintelligent women. It's honestly pathetic.

It should come as no surprise that some individuals, particularly in the Bible Thumping communities in Texas, may exploit religious gatherings as a guise for self-righteous posturing while using them as opportunities for predatory behavior. Rob has obviously been hitting them.

You can hold religious beliefs and apply them as you see fit to your life or not in private. I'm far from being a regular church-going Christian but I did find this Bible passage that spells it out fairly well:

Matthew 6:5 (KJV):

"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward."

Hey, I have my intolerances but they don't extend to barbarism. However, that doesn't change the fact that the Pilgrims would have roasted them.
