Where did you get the picture? That could tell you a lot. There was (is?) a whole detail in a Mexican State of hot body female cops. They got quite popular. At one point the detail was shut down because higher ups felt they portrayed the wrong image. Then they were reinstated for a while.

Wow! That's crazy!

To me, Raquel Welch never got the credit she deserved. I've heard some film historians say that it wasn't her ethnicity that got in the way of her being a bigger movie star, it was the fact that she kissed a Black man on screen in her film 100 Rifles. It was one of the first, if not the first time a "White" woman kissed a Black man on the lips on screen. And not just a kiss, but a passionate, ooops my dress is half falling off my rockin' bod kiss! LOL

Fortunately, we've come a long way in terms of racial diversity since the '60's and '70's but I'd still say we have a ways to go yet too. Hollywood is still mostly run by old White guys as far as I can tell, but things do seem to be getting a little better.

We need a few more Denzel Washington's and J Lo's to get promoted into box office stardom and the money will bring more change imho.

Really, I do.

But this is a Latina appreciation thread and she's the only one who's NOT Latina - (I think!) - so I'm afraid you get an F :caning:
and have to stay after school to write a 500 word essay entitled Why Latinas Rock by Hot Older Guy. ;) :)
