Truly, I meant no offense. I only had the questions I raised in my original posts. It was those who thereafter attacked me who brought in all these hurtful issues.

My Dad is a Vietnam veteran. 100% disabled and blind. We have had close friends who died in that war.

Trust me, anybody, undeserving, who tries to ride on the coattails of the true hero's are disgusting. They're just sad...and they KNOW it.

Realize that and SUPPORT OUR VETERANS!!!

Here's that post:

I received an unsolicited PM from an ostensible "married, 46 year old mom of 2... to talk on here about experiences, fantasies, and interests." We chatted about ourselves back and forth for a bit. Ultimately, it led to "her" suggesting we role-play by PM. By this time, it was pretty clear to me that "she" was actually a "he." I declined the role-play, but did not explain why. (If he reads this post, he will know, but I get the impression he does not bother reading posts of even the people with whom he wants to chat.) I did not want to embarrass or anger him.

Should I have let him know I was on to him, or do what I did and simply come up with an excuse not to role-lay?

By claiming he flew the SR-71, the man whom you've made the topic of this thread (I meant this thread as a more general exercise, using his profile as an extreme example of a trend), truly is stealing the honor and glory of true heroes.

You started this thread with only ONE person mentioned and when you didn't get the responses you wanted, you said you meant it to be in general. People posting about a topic in general do not point to ONE person specifically.

You seem to want to argue with anyone that doesn't agree totally with your ideas. That is your right. But try to sound less like a young drama queen and more like someone who is making a point without making specific comments about a specific person.

If Pilot was 18 when the Blackbirds were rolled out, even if you give it a year or two, he would about 70 years old. Now that may seem incredibly old to you, but there are many people on this site that are that age or older. Have some respect for them.

If he did or didn't fly the plane, who cares? This is an adult site filled with people writing fictional fantasies. There is no rule that says a person has to tell the truth or not.
