"Well, I wonder why the Secret Service, if this was nefarious, why the Secret Service allowed these people in," Jay Sekulow said on ABC's "This Week." "The President had Secret Service protection at that point, and that raised a question with me."
"Donald Trump Jr. was not a protectee of the USSS in June, 2016," the agency told CNN in a statement. "Thus we would not have screened anyone he was meeting with at that time."
Thus continues the desperate, incoherent flailings of the con artist administration to blame everyone and anyone for their collusion, except themselves. When trying to explain why con artist junior was meeting with a Russian agent who said they were going to provide information on Hillary Clinton, and junior said releasing the information at a specific time would be great, it's game on to see who can come up with the biggest, most outrageous lie the uneducated, deplorable con artist supporters will believe.
Senator Mark Warner, who is on the Senate committee investigating the con artist's collusion, raised a very good point. How is it possible the con artist didn't know, or wasn't at least informed of the collusion meeting? One would think if the information revolved around his opponent, he would definitely be in the loop.
