It's another beautiful day. The house is quiet and my coffee is good. (even though I broke my favorite coffee cup) It's a holiday weekend in Canada and the U.S. Here's hoping if you are someone celebrating, your celebrations are joyous and safe.

So far much better than yesterday.

Nice breakfast of scrambled farm eggs with diced ham and a slice of toast with jam. I went to the pool and swam around for about an hour or so.

In a bit I'm headed off to do some shopping. Retail therapy. Who knows, I might find some more silly frilly tops.

Morning Bidin' Pleasant here today, the humidity broke. We are going to break in our new deck with family and friends. Ribs will be on the smoker, along with corn on the cob. Yum.
