It is interesting that this is like a rorschach test based on political party*, if only because it is the clearest indication yet of how low expectations have sunk on the right. Oh, the former FBI director who was fired under untruthful circumstances won't come out and say he believes our fucking lying thug incompetent joke of a president has committed obstruction of justice outright? That he is, at best, an inexperienced oaf with terrible judgment? VINDICATION! CELEBRATION! YES MY PRESIDENT! MAGA!

Yikes. They should be very, very concerned about the investigation and the fact that Trump is about one impulsive tweet away from pressing eject on this thing himself.

What is interesting was the strong denial of the NYT account of contacts between Trump campaign people and Russia. They're sticking by it, and it's unclear which parts would be incorrect based on what they've been able to verify and given how much we've learned in the time since. There is still something really, really strange about this whole thing. There are pieces that make no sense - changes in the nuances of Clapper's testimony, some weird exchange between Reince Priebus and Andrew McCabe.

We are missing so many facts, and I am getting tired of it. This is unhealthy for the country and we need to get to the bottom of it, quickly. The congressional republicans who are doing everything they can to pretend it's a big deal need to grow the fuck up and start working for the country instead of themselves.
