I would lick the armpit of a 18th century Navie for some decent painrelief right now. Ache mofo ache!

And ta dah, there is our favorite idiot.

Couldn't resist putting your loon in on American matters could ya?

Just correcting more idiot Yank idiot statements. Can't stand stupidity and ignorance. Got any other fake statements you wish me to correct? Like America is exceptional or shit like that.

But yet you continue to live with yourself, amazing.

America is exceptional otherwise you wouldn't be so jealous of what we do, how we live and the freedoms we enjoy. Must suck being you. Anything else you want me to point out?

Are you referring to him, personally? Or are you demeaning where he lives?

I should probably do a countdown for the " facts " according to a loon and get ready for the article cites and statistics that shows how bad we are.

Just him.

Nothing against your country.

Thank you. Whilst our deliveries are quite different, and personae, as well, I find that I agree with some of what he states...

We may disagree with each other individually, but Canucks tend to treat each other respectfully and get along...

Makes us boring, but happy, eh? ;)

I do, though usually sort of ironically.

That, and learning as much as I can about whatever grabs my interest. I'm told the archetypal druidic meditation is to take a walk and stop to examine whatever attracts your attention. I was loke, "thank god, now my scattered focus has become a religious activity." I think you're safe with that tenet; it seems to have been pretty solidly backed up by, oh, everything. The emotion thing gets interesting; on some level, emotion is energy. It's electrical activity in the brain. It stands to reason that energy would affect everything around it, if only on some wonky, theoretical quantum-y butterfly-flap level.

I guess you could make the case that it's gravity that's responsible for waves. It's not the wave that's a force of nature; it's the gravity that creates planetary rotation, tides, wind.

I can't say I know it instinctively, but I tend to be conscious of it. I guess most people don't bother. I like to stay aware in that way. A point in space.

It seems like for most people the larger enviro issues are sort of distant. They're not like, litter in your front yard. This is one of the stupider reasons for gw denials, that we can't or don't affect the planet/atmosphere/whatever such dipshits believe. Sometimes I feel some relief at the fact that I don't have kids. I still do what I can, though, or at least some of what I can.

Nonsense! You need to try this. It's so much fun! The best thing about it for me is that we're studying out of existing manuals from the middle ages and renaissance. Like, these books still exist in museums and stuff. Achille Marozzo was a real fencing master from the early 1500's. His book is available. How cool is that? The earlest manuscript, usually referred to as I.33, is from the 1320's. Actual people learned from it back then! So very cool. You could be the next St. Walpurga.

And no, indeed not. I like my sex a little less...repetitive.

So it's reserved for those moments when you'd rather something not be true? I shouldn't tease you. I have my moments. An occasional "ain't" will slip out and I am guilty of saying "you betcha" - usually with a dollop of sarcasm. :D

One can learn something from everything if one looks. Whether it's the way leaves grow on plants and the mathematical equation for them. Or observing people in conversation, watching body language. Even something as mundane as traffic patterns. It's all very... Ferdinandish in some ways. But ultimately much more rewarding and enjoyable than the rat race mentality of our world.

Strong emotion. It's been a subject of considerable thought of mine lately. It has its own energy. Terms like the limbic system were all but unknown in common vernacular a couple decades ago even though it dates back to the 40s. I am not so sure that all emotion resides in the brain however. Even muscles have memory for trauma. And those gut feelings aren't felt behind our eyes.

Physics. Yes, in a sense one can say I have a healthy respect for physics. It is a much more cohesive element for our universe than any abrahamic god figure. So when we look at things like gravity and those pervasive forces that make it all work... yes that is something to stand in awe of.

I've always been compass aware. I can't even say when I first noticed it about myself. It's just always been there. And I notice the details of what "north" means around me. Where the sun is, where shadows fall, even moss on trees. Also I almost instinctively know what time it is within a 10-15 minute range. Usually closer. I used to wear a watch but I gave it up because I usually knew without looking. Time and spacial orientation. No wonder I like physics. :D

And then there's the special kind of morons that belong in the worst level of Dante's hell, that think "god will fix it". I am not typically a violent person, but there's a special kind of hypocrisy for people that harp on about personal responsibility, until it comes to managing their own waste. I do judge people on how much waste they create and how they handle it. Speaking of garbage, have you noticed it's everywhere? Sides of streets, parking lots, grassy strips... even on neighborhood streets. Human detritus is a phrase that keeps popping into my head lately. We're drowning in our own garbage. But hey, their god will fix it right?

That is very cool. However I've always fancied myself more of an archer if I were going to do something like that. I'm really not one for blunt force hand on hand combat type interaction. Although I did very well in jujitsu. That was fun. :D But I do like the idea of being safe - well safer - from a distance. Plus I have excellent aim.

A little repetition now and then in sex can be quite fun, but please not so mechanically. ;)

Sometimes you wake to birds singing, and sometimes to the neighbor woman screaming at her kid.

Ahhhh, the old 'the internal combustion engine and the burning of fossil
Fuels caused the iceage 10,000 years ago' ploy..

Sounds legit.

Atheist! The Earth is only 7400 years old. Any evidence or fossils of it being older are Satanic fakes to cast doubt on God's creation of the Earth and man.

Only time I eat vanilla ice cream is with warm brownies. Might take a bit of caramel with the two.

My kind of guy! Except the caramel part. ;)

It's not that I find it distasteful, I like it as much as I like peppermint. I can take it or leave it.
