Hello, I am new to being a writer in general but am definitely new to being a writer of eroticism and am looking for someone to help me collaborate on a story I just started writing. This story in particular deals with an 18 year old half Italian half Puerto Rican boy just about to graduate from high school, living in a predominantly black neighborhood going through challenges of homosexuality, alcoholism, drugs, sex, pretty much trying to figure out who he is. One day he meets this African American boy outside of this convenience store at night, that he just happens to walk by who is selling drugs. Out of curiosity, the main character sits down on the curb while drinking his juice he'd just bought staring at the boy. The boy stares back with hesitation and slight disgust but starts up a conversation anyway with the main character and thus introduces him to a whole new world of crime and trouble.

Well, not adolescents if both characters are at least 18.

Interesting setup. Do you have something written already or is this just a concept plan so far?

Yeah you are right about that equinox, was typing to fast to think lol but yeah are you interested in the story?

sr71plt, it is more of a concept honestly because I had one story written but then I felt I needed to change the whole thing into this concept. I felt the writing for the first draft wasn't as interesting but if you'd like to see it I can send it to you.

I write GM here and have cowritten here. Collaboration means both authors put the work in, though. The one with the concept is on the hook to provide some actual meat in terms of writing on which the story can be fleshed out. I can pretty much come up with my own concepts for my writing. You probably would be best to see if you can write that story yourself.

Oh wow cool SR, yeah I honestly feel I don't know how to write even with great concepts. If you want I can show you examples and you can be the judge of where I go from there but I would like to have someone cowrite with me or help me get this story started.

Be sure to turn on Private Messages.

* To switch on your Private Messages, go to User CP (top left of this page), click on Edit Options (in the left hand column), and then tick Enable Private Messaging in the second box down. Make sure that the box titled Receive Private Messages only from Buddies and Moderators is NOT ticked. Finally, click Save Changes at the bottom of that page.

Cowriting really should involve two or more actual writers. For examples you could go to the Shabbu story file here (a combination of another writer here and me). Our usual method is each taking a protagonist character and bouncing back and forth, each progressing the story line and exploring the characters. Usually you can see how it's happening through sectioning.

Maybe you should try it on your own to build up to being a writer. You might try dropping your concepts in the Story Ideas forum if you're really looking for someone else to do the writing. Best of luck with it.
