Wore the dog out from our morning jaunt. She looked at me like I was actively trying to kill her when we got back.

Probably closer to 2 1/2 glugs. I have put my faith and burritos in the care of Saint Peter. May they prove to be tasty. Hands off, fucker. Amen.

For the first twenty minutes, I thought I'd made a big mistake by not wearing gloves. It was around 42° at the start and my hands were telling me they weren't happy.

Then the sun crested the treeline and things began to warm up a bit. I ran a decent time— about what I expected, but by mile nine it really can't be called running. It's more akin to stumbling forward and getting my feet out front soon enough to keep from falling flat on my face.

The guy who was using this as a warm-up for the Boston Marathon said I ran 9 minute miles on the way out because I got to the turnaround point before he did. My prediction came to pass though, as he passed me on the way back.

It would appear the use of Heinz 57 sauce in refried beans is uncharted territory. I can't find a recipe for it.

Heinz 57 in refried beans?

I'm having a little trouble processing that, but I also haven't had Heinz 57 in a very long time, so I can't really remember what it tastes like.

Now, I'm thinking about picking up a bottle of it.

You know you've gone pretty far down the rabbit hole when you can't find recipes for things you want to try.

My kind of man is the one whose response to my talk of cutting my hair again is "just leave enough for me to grab."

I go barefoot nearly all the time so my feet are pretty punished. The best cream I've had for them is Balneum which is 5% urea. Neci is right, urea is the key ingredient, nevermind your shea and coconut oil & butters!

I never could figure out why people have to refry beans. Why don't they just finish frying them the first time?

Heinz 57 is just katsup with 56 extra ingredients.
