I'll start it off.

My favorite team is the New England Patriots, I have been a fan since 2006 but really became die-hard in 2008-2009 and last season was beyond belief, from Brady's "Napoleon like" return in Cleveland to him coming back from the dead in Super Bowl 51.

I don't have a "favorite" but there are some teams I enjoy watching more than others. Colts, Broncos, Steelers, Browns, Ravens, Pats, Raiders.

A disclaimer: I only watch the Pats because you can't deny how good they are and how great Brady is. Doesn't mean I actually like them. I don't. I think they're cheaters and buttheads. Fun as hell to watch though.

Patriots since 1979 or so. That means I remember decades of being "The Patsies" and with the exception of a couple of surprise SB trips, pretty much a lot of suck.

Because of that its amazing to me that the Pats now have that sickening obnoxious pink hat fan base that I remember Pitt and 49er and Dallas fans had back in their dynasty days.

Fans that latched on after 2001-or people young enough that all they recall is Tom Brady-have no idea or real appreciation for what we're seeing these days. But when you remember when Matt Millen was QB and Horace Ivory was your best running back...these are the damn golden years

The New York Jets have been rebuilding since 1969

I just group the two together, most giant fans are just butt hurt Jets fans in my experience. But in all seriousness I do respect the hell out of Eli Manning. He is the better Manning.

That is true! they haven't had a good QB since Chad Pennington (who was great) but always injured. They haven't had a consistent one since Joe Namath.

I nor any of my family were EVER Jets fans. I cant speak for all but because they are in different divisions (AFC / NFC) the Jets are not our #1 rivalry. That goes to the Cowgirls.

NY has this thing where if you are a Jets fan you are also an Islander (NHL) fan and if you are a Giants fan you are also a Rangers fan.

Jets are more Long Islanders and Giants are everywhere else...

Atlanta Falcons, been a fan since the fall of '67. Last Superb Owl could have gone better, but at least I got to see my team play in it in person.

Jets & Pats used to be rivals but I dont think its been like that for years..
I think Jets & Miami are rivals.

Just because the Pats have beaten the Jets for years doesn't mean they are not rivals..

well, in recent years, sure. there was, however, a time when they both mostly sucked.

a time when the dolphins and (for a good decade or so) the bills were the good teams and the pats and jets were struggling to remain relevant.

it seems so long ago, but it really wasn't. a couple decades ago, at most.

oh and the colts were there, too.

but they also sucked for a good bit of that time.
