But since I don't have anything profound to say, in the finest Blurt thread tradition of Trysail, here are some of my thoughts on the Peace of Westphalia: Um, it was good?


I don't do vanity posts/threads very well. That's one of the things I like about me.

I was in no hurry, felt reasonably graceful in my economy of movement, yet I still manage to get tomatoes splattered everywhere.

Thursday. Or, as one of my supervisors likes to call it: Friday Eve.

I can't get on board with that. It implies that Saturday is some kind of holiday that I get off with pay.

Speaking of pay, so far for the week I'm up 1.5 hours. Last night we had to work a half hour over and I volunteered 30 minutes beyond that. What is this strange behavior? I don't usually do more than I have to. They start to expect it. But I'm anticipating an early release, possibly today and definitely tomorrow so might as well try to pad the paycheck.
