It's really not that complicated. Everyone has something interesting to talk about. For example, you have a firsthand perspective of the middle east that precious few of the rest of us do. You also have unique insight into the corporatization/commercialization of marijuana, plus a super cute dog. That's internet gold.

I think you're falling into the same trap that many people do, where they judge their own entertainment value and ability to hold the interest of others based on comparative social feedback, and that will never be an accurate means of measurement.

A good point, and I appreciate you and WE sharing that perspective. I think there are measures we can take (stickies in the GB or the poli sub) to mitigate that, and the community would also bear a portion of the responsibility in making it feel open and inclusive.

The PB doesn't really have any crowd of it's own.

GB was the politics board for years before that was made to try and shoo off anyone who wasn't PC enough for the playgrounders on the GB. Especially after mommy Clinton lost the big fight to daddy Trump and the butt hurt literally drove them to pick their lunch table up out of the cafeteria and carried it to the farthest corner of the school yard to sit by themselves for a good pout.
