Without any facts, right out of the gate, they "knew" the truth.

The media coverage at the time is probably where it came from, they were absolutely sure as well, even to the point of falsifying details of the case to make their narrative more believable.

CBS broadcast an edited 911 call to make it look like Zimmerman referred to Treyvon as a black guy.

When the media was caught red-handed after describing Zimmerman as typical vigilante white guy posing as part of the community watch, they reversed themselves and took the new position, "White Hispanic."

Then there was the posting of the young, innocent pictures of Treyvon and not his more adult "mug shots..."

And President Obama had to get on the racial gravy train, "If I had a son..."
