If you want to do it without totally tossing the Constitution down the drain and igniting a ware your side is ill-equipped to win....you're going to have to do it legally with a constitutional convention.

More like a return to American Carnage. Two years ago the news about the VA broke. Veterans left to die because they couldn't get help from an agency that was over worked, under staffed and under funded. There have been some strides made in correcting that but they still have a very long way to go. Now along comes our *shutter* president and puts a hiring freeze on ALL government agencies except the military. How do you suppose that's going to effect the VA? They haven't even got the damn thing back to an average acceptable standard and he's kicking them back into the hole. I can understand him trying to live up to his promises, not that he has a reputation for that, but still he's trying to look good for his followers. I suspect that this issue is going to get lost in the shuffle, swept under the carpet with a sound bite or two, then be banned from discussion.
As far as the VA, the vets of WWII were treated as they should have been, taken care of medically from those injuries and diseases brought home from their service to this country. The generations since then have not been so lucky. Like how you ask?
Agent Orange? Of fuck you guys are whiners!
Gulf War Syndrome? No such a fucking thing?
A wound sustained while fight our war? To fucking bad. stand in line.
I hope it gets noticed before more of our vets die waiting.

While we're at it, let's arrest all the journalists who write or say things we disagree with. And let's lock up people who might have broken the law, and never mind proof of guilt. There are some churches who say things we don't like, so let' raze them. I mean, if we are going to abrogate the US Constitution, why stop at the Second Amendment?

All true, and when you add in that Trump was a draft dodger, has disparaged those who weren't, used veterans as a shield against criticism, and lied about money he'd given to veteran causes--all of which were always right there in the public spotlight, you have to wonder why veterans were dumb enough to vote for him as he has claimed "all" did.
At some point--and this is with health insurance as well--the dummies who didn't research what was in their personal interests in the election can just stew in the stupidity they contributed to.

Clinton, has been pretty much the most hated name name in the military since 1993.
Nobody named Clinton will ever get the military/veterans vote in either our lifetimes.
Ever.
Hillary knew....she didn't even bother courting them, total waste of time for her.
Even Socialist Sandaz did SIGNIFICANTLY better than Clinton among vets/military.
How could you not know this?
