As long as it doesn't rain Dec-Feb I'm fine with rain. Makes crops grow, keeps forest fire risks down, raises river levels for spawning salmon to go up, washes terrestrial insects into water (hence popularity of worms for fishing). Dec-Feb and early Mar. is for snow. Rain during the winter is just plain miserably cold and wet with dangerous ice conditions.
