Happened to me a couple of times. Yeah, it's the shits.

Worst part is, it'll take over a year for the toenail to grow out the bloodstain. It was too ooglay for me to wear flipflops out in high sassiety during the summertime as I usually do. You'll be able to nail polish over it, though, so no frets.
