So, tell me, now that we're alone, what kind of writer are you? Are you an inspired writer or are you a cursed writer? Do you write because you want to write or because you must write? Do you write as if you're a virtual writing machine or do you stare at a blank page while racking your brain and wondering what to write?

Me? Oh, thanks for asking. I'm an inspired writer but it has taken me years to find my inspiration and my voice. I'm driven to write. I must write everyday. As if I haven't gone to the bathroom, as if I need to purge myself, I must write.

So, tell me, what's your favorite category and your preferred story to write?

I can write just about anything in any category but seemingly, perhaps because I survived physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, I prefer writing stories of incest, romance, mature, and, being that I'm an exhibitionist, exhibitionism and voyeurism.

I didn't want her lips on mine so I grabbed the back of her hair, and in one swift motion, pulled out my dick, drug her off the couch, and began playing tonsil hockey with her. I got 30 seconds of the worst blow job ever until she fell to the floor and I got aboard her and pounded away.

The others decide to sit on the couch and watch. I beckoned them to join us. Jim took the face. We rotated a cycle for awhile. Marge began screaming "I love you Jim. I want to be with you Jim" and all kinds of crazy babble that you don't yell while getting plugged. So in the midst of my turn I felt something wet and warm all over my lap. At the time I thought she was just super wet. Then discovered the "warm wetness" was urine.

Within 10 minutes or so I hear yelling and crying. Come to find out, she wasn't too pleased about the pictures Barry took of her with his phone.

She kept yelling and what not, me being too drunk for this shit, guided her out of the house with speed. I closed and locked the door behind her. I closed the blinds and found her panties. I grabbed a stick and picked them up to dispose in the trash. I then took a shower to rinse the urine from my body. Jim and Barry took her home.

I've been accused many times being a man. I have to think about setting up the scene and so forth- I'm about dialogue and action.

If you get tired, I have beds upstairs.

Whenever I'm blocked which is rare, but it sometimes happens, what I do is take my story to bed with me. The last thought I have before closing my eyes is how to proceed with my story.

While I sleep my brain percolates my story. Then, when I awaken, I can't write fast enough.

A longtime reader of Literotica, not finding the stories that I wanted to read and thinking that I could write better stories than other writers, I started writing instead of reading.

Then, after fans started soliciting me to write them custom stories, writing became my business. Now I write every day, 7 days a week 8 hours a day. I'm finally doing what I love to do and meant to do.

My reading habits were formed by pilfering books from my father's shelves, mostly fantasy and sci-fi paperbacks from the 70s and 80s. I came for the swords, starships and boobs on the covers and more often than not, I went away with another crazy good story. They sparked my imagination like no TV show or movie could. In the end, I'm still walking through the imaginary worlds, still a horny teenager. I've written my first story way back in 9th grade, around the same time I discovered pen&paper roleplaying. Walking imaginary worlds with others, crafting stories as we go along? Yes, please.

Throughout the last 25 years, I've met so many people at my gaming table, each bringing a new, often unique character with them. My "serious" writing is a continuation, or spinoff,of what began with dice and monster manuals at the gaming table. Stories too dark, too naughty or too personal to share with other players. Alternate outcomes of situations we had at the table. Or simply sexy fanfic involving some of my favourite heroes and villains.

The writing process for me is two-thirds joy and one-third torture. Building scenes and characters is easy. Finding the right words, in a foreign language to boot, is hard labour, to the point where I long to throw in the towel. But a few weeks without writing and I feel guilty of not telling the stories which want to be told. I've had two pretty rough years due to some health issues, but with them dealth with, I have posted a slew of new stuff.

I mostly write fantasy or SF, with tenuous forays into other genres. Or, in RPG parlance, doing one-shots in a different campaign setting. People seem to like what I do, even when my heroes get ass-raped by monstrously hung spider-demons.

I started writing with pen, only a medium, blue pen, then a typewriter, only a Smith Corona and not an IBM Selectric. Then, when they came out with Windows and Word for Windows instead of DOS, it was if I had seen fire for the first time. My God. I hate laptops and only write on my desktop and Microsoft ergonomic keyboard, the new and smaller one.

Long story short, I became a voracious reader because I was unable to speak, not a word, for years because one of my abusers tried to drown me. I read everything. I was reading college literature by the time I was in Junior High.

The worst thing I did was to go to college for English, English Literature, and Creative Writing. Other than to read more books, I didn't learn anything about how to write. Either you have writing ability or you don't. Those who can't write become editors or teachers, sorry but it's true, and there's nothing wrong with becoming an editor or a teacher. They just as as creative as a gifted, creative writer. We see and feel things that they don't. We think with the other side of our brains, the creative side.

I've always been a dreaming and with me not able to speak, instead of talking, I listened. I listened to how people talked and what they said. Now, I translate that to dialogue. In the way that I was a voracious reader, I became a prolific writer. Just as I can't go a day with strong, black coffee, I can't go a day without writing.

Every day, I bound out of bed at 4:30 am with another story to write. Typically, I write 6 to 12 stories at a time, going from one to another, as soon as the inspiration stops for that story. I only write when inspired. Just as inspired writing is the best writing, forced writing is the worst writing.

Every year for the past 9 years, I've averaged 200 stories a year and 1.5 million words.

Please, have another cupcake. They won't taste the same tomorrow. Maybe I'll make chocolate chip cookies tomorrow.

I'll illustrate the house that the main character lives in, or her friend's house, or areas that she spends time in. It helps solidify a mental image for me when writing so rooms in the house don't shift around when painting mental images of what I am writing.

I came out of an academic environment writing a great deal of nonfiction. That was quite satisfying if not especially lucrative. I still write nonfiction on a regular basis. I began writing erotica to practice dialogue -- not an essential for the kind of nonfiction I write. What began as a lark became an enjoyment when I began getting favorable feedback.

Since I grew up on a diet of classic hard SF I tend to write a lot of SF and a little fantasy, though I have touched just about every category except Mind Control. First off, I can't think of a logical mechanism for such an ability and secondly it is too god-like. I want at least some plausibility. I've been told that my female characters are not bad. I tend to write strong women because I believe in women's natural superiority over men. Having been exposed to some hard-shelled fundamentalism in my younger days I also like to put Christians in compromising positions. I also grew up reading a great deal of "pulp" literature like"The Shadow", Doc Savage" and "Ki-Kor the Jungle Lord" Those sensibilities fill my fiction.

I'd like to have more hot stories, but nearly all of my stories hover around 4:30, so I'm turning a lot of people on. Most of my mail is complimentary or constructive.

I write when I have time, weekends, nights mostly. Look for a lot more of me when I retire in two years!

Well, to be honest, I'm glad you ate all the cupcakes. They wouldn't have tasted as good today, sort of like a day old donuts tastes tomorrow.

It sounds like your first story is consuming you. Unless you're okay with that, perhaps you should take a step back and start another story.

The fact that you're sketching the houses of the characters is interesting. I'm not sure what to make of that. Perhaps instead of a being just a writer you should add director to your resume too.

Some directors not only help write the story but also help design the background.

Kenneth Roberts recalled his best newspaper writing as a fictional account of an event he never saw. He missed the train, and wrote the story at the train station. His editor loved it, and witnesses said it captured the soul of the event.

I graduated from Northeastern University. I only needed to take 5 writing courses to satisfy my English degree. I took every writing course but for technical and business writing.

Creative writing 1-8, expository writing 1-3, newswriting 1 & 2, magazine writing 1 & 2, screenwriting 1 & 2, poetry 1-3, then there's the dozen English Literature classes, as well as specific classes, such as Charles Dickens, and the classics.

My four brothers are all here to keep people like you out of my thread. Freddie is at the front door. Vito and Guido man the backdoor and big Louie is always with me on the floor.

For the record, I graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University with a BS in English and with Creative Writing and English Literature minors.

And yes, I worked my way through school as a full-charge bookkeeper because I had a knack for numbers. After taking only one accounting course, I worked as a staff accountant for an oil company and then as a controller for a furrier on Newbury Street in Boston and as a Business Manager for a famous modeling agency on Newbury Street in Boston. Show me the post where I wrote I never took a writing course. What I wrote in this thread was that taking college writing courses was a waste of time because no one can teach anyone how to write creatively. Either you can or you can. Creative writing is a talent, a gift, and something that you're born with.

My good looks got me a foot in the door with lots of jobs. Then, once hired, showing them that I could do the job, it was a win/win for both. I added professionalism along with window dressing.
