Speaking of Hump Day, this morning I was watching the deer in my backyard, specifically a young (horny) buck and five does. The buck was chasing the does, one at a time, sometimes circling our home. But no luck. He never caught any of them. He finally gave up and walked away and back into the thick brush. Better luck next time.

I did my early voting Wednesday. Was surprised at the number of people waiting. Only took about 15 min to get my ballot.

Great! We voted in Bastrop at 2 PM today. No line. We hit it just right. It appears the largest counties are having very heavy turnouts for early voting. I'm always glad to see lots of people vote. A good habit to have.
