When a white man, Sr71plt calls a black woman a "black bitch" is it racist?

Leaving aside LadyF's often judgmental attitude towards transgenders, on which I happen to agree with those who challenged her,
It's interesting to see how many butthurt male posters jumped in here.

Just because she as a rule whoops their ass in debates with her intelligence and knowledge.

Just want to clarify where these debates are being won? Is it in her stating opinions as facts? Or the hypocrisy of calling out bigotry while herself being bigoted?

The funny thing is I started reading this thread feeling horrible for her that she was subjected to racism. Now I feel bad for not only how she was treated (which still wasn't right) but also for how she's treating others. The reason I have decided not to respond to her is because she's not creating a proper argument. My request for her to substantiate her statement of mental illness with facts was met with being called a bigot because somehow, asking her to provide facts was intolerant of her opinion. However, she earlier stated the same opinion as a fact. An opinion which is extremely offensive towards a subset of our population.

I wouldn't call anyone butt hurt. Would say I'm offended that someone who has experienced bigotry would so freely practice it.

Well this is it in a nutshell. Disagree with you on anything and that person is a bigot and intolerant of your opinion. Yet you're intolerant of theirs.

Back to the default of you always being the victim.
Actually sometimes it means you're trying to marginalize her. Or so she says anyway.

PS if I were on ignore you would not be able to see the thread anymore in order to respond "neener neer you are on ignore" to me. Dummy. Threads disappear when you put the thread starter on ignore.
Actually they still show up on the main forum page, if they are the last thread posted to in a subsection.
Snopes rates your post as half right. :D

He's a known racist and xenophobe, don't put too much value in anything he says. His upbringing in pakistan was hard on him which has lead to his over eating and caused him to become a shut in.

Is it safe to assume, without trawling through hundreds of posts, that this thread is all about how victimised people are? And that it turns out Hashtag is the most victimised of all?

I'd genuinely love to be proved wrong.

It started out with #### mansplaining the plight of the insulted black woman. Because who else could identify with the Funk?

If you asshats and trolls think that putting down and mocking me ( just like anyone who says good things about any of your opponents) will diminish your opponents in people's eyes, you're only partially right.

Such silly tactics work for asshats like you and the progressive team, but normal posters think like normal people and won't fall for these things.

I don't like her comments and her often too judgmental view about trans individuals either. I feel uncomfortable going further than that tho, because LadyF never engaged in similar analyses of me. So I'll focus only on the reasons why, despite the above, I have such a good impression of her:

1.Attitude:
I noticed that she can be tough with certain posters, but I haven't seen her being rude to those who treat her with respect and focus on the discussion at hand, as opposed to engaging in trolling or personal attacks.. I haven't seen her gang up on the weaker posters or the "unpollulars" either.
From a personal pov, she sometimes told me off like she did in this thread, but it was only about my behaviors and she never engaged in personal attacks or cheap mocking, despite my stellar reputation in this forum.
I attacked her several months ago in a pretty nasty manner and she replied back, but she seems to have forgotten about it and hasn't held any grudges, which is cool.
She seems to be direct instead of being passive aggressive, which I respect.

2.Knowledge-wise:
I think that a lot of political posters are intelligent and well read, but they have a more hands on approach, whereas LadyF is more focused on larger systems. Also, she came up with things that made me reflect on things and widened my horizons quite a bit.
I think that in order to get her point across she often uses language that is a bit more heightened and "graphic" (I can't find the right word). For me that works because it's highly suggestive and I know that she doesn't mean it as an insult. But I noticed that some OCD liberals often take what she says literally and get easily offended by her words, instead of looking at what she's trying to convey.
(I'm not referring to you, aboutaverage etc. of course; just to the "easily offended" "libs.")

I too cannot hide my distaste for those who won't answer polls.
