The Living Works of Art Challenge II - Female Body Edition

I'm glad it's not just me that had to faff about with this one. But I do love what everyone had done. Such a lovely sexy bunch of ladies

I have one from before that sort of fits, I hope. No dog, no fountain, no servants. Just sitting in a similar way with the shadows for covering of some parts and other parts showing.

That fits really well, Ms G, great pose, and beautiful breasts in the sunlight.

This is Bathsheba if she was a witch! LOL!

Happy Halloween!!

I love, love, love this. Such fun, but the pose is brilliant too, and wow, great legs!

My interpretation, before I got too frustrated and gave up :D

You sound disappointed, omega, but it is a great image. Your hands are lovely, particularly the one with the pearls, I'm betting Mara will like that especially.

I think this is my least favourite challenge yet. The pose did nothing for my body and I am amazed at how well Tali's came out.

Right, in colour, with a watercolour, canvas finish. Here is my rendition... (and yes, hand on wrong leg, etc).

attachment.php

I do like the outline of the far breast contrasting with the better detail of the near one. And the hand holding the pearls is beautifully contrasting against the darkness.

And so I must unveil my offering. I agree with others who said it was hard. My photographer had to get into all sorts of contortions to get his tall frame into the bathroom with me but still get me all in! I'm disappointed that the shower spray doesn't show up better, and I had to improvise for the pearls.

Dear wonderful girls, you are all truly awesome, so beautiful are you renditions, true works of art

Way too much artistic license.
But two frustrating and interrupted shoots later this is it.

Nume, you look marvelous in this shot and two thumbs up for the added touch of realism with shower spray

Lizzie, this is gorgeous. The pose may do nothing for your body, but your body sure does something great for the pose.:)

Beautiful rendition, Numi. It's fun to see the different improvisation you ladies come up with.

Any shot with your lips and breasts works for me. Nothing wrong with a little artistic license.

Oh dear,

No wonder my ears were burning today. It seems I have caused quite a bit of frustration. I hear they are cursing me over in the gentleman's thread too.:D

You know, I didn't call these "challenges" for nothing.;)

Great artists are never satisfied, always wanting to work the canvas more. This lovely image will be hanging in the museum of those greats.:rose:

Oh, well, hand on the wrong leg, so it's obviously a forgery. I'd buy that painting anyway, but I'd rather have the model.:rose:

The shower spray shows up well enough--well enough not to distract from the ravishing model.:rose:

Your artistic license will never be suspended by me. And I wouldn't mind seeing the out-takes too.

LOL I had a bazillion with my head the wrong way, legs are weird, the pearls were blurry (I heaved those across the room ) and the towel fell the wrong way.

Great job though Lizzie, I love this! :rose:

Oh yes, and then trying to gather all the bits as the timer counts down... *shudders*
Thank you.

I like it Lizzie but I hate that painting.
:D noted Madam.

Lizzie,
This Might not be your favorite but I for one love it.
Thank you RT.

I too have struggled with this week's challenge Lizzie, so I can understand! Some of your picture is pixellated by the filtering, which is a shame. I have to say, though that I like the dangling jewellery very much, and there are some lovely gradations in colour, particularly on your right breast. The dark hollows of your collar-bone are enticing, too.
I did hate the fact that the arm got pixelated. I noticed it quite late and by that time, I no longer had the original.
I am glad you like some parts of it.
I do like the outline of the far breast contrasting with the better detail of the near one. And the hand holding the pearls is beautifully contrasting against the darkness.
Thank you Numi, it's a twisted chain with antique gold finish but the twists came across as pearls anyway so I went with it.

Lizzie, this is gorgeous. The pose may do nothing for your body, but your body sure does something great for the pose.:)
You are always too kind to me JRP.

Oh, well, hand on the wrong leg, so it's obviously a forgery. I'd buy that painting anyway, but I'd rather have the model.:rose:
Haha, thank you. I am glad to know you would even though it is am obvious forgery.

I think it is a very nice, modern interpretation. I love the colours of this and the lines of your body.

I like how you took elements of the picture and made it your own. It speaks volumes of your love for this that you did the pose, sent like it and went all creative on it to come up with something where the inspiration shows, but it is very much your own thing. Lovely.

I really like this one. I really hadn't noticed the hand. :D

I do like this it has the essence of the picture in a modern setting. I agree about the shower spray, but that was always going to be difficult with the background and lighting.

If I came across you looking like that I might interrupt the shoot too. Did I just say that? Damn those Freudian slips.

You take such care in posing, I don't see how you think it isn't anything but great.

That fits really well, Ms G, great pose, and beautiful breasts in the sunlight.

Thanks for saying so.

Showersheba is a great name, and the pic is great too.

You gotta go with what you got. Anyways spray me down I need a cold shower.

Yes sometimes you just have to.
Hehe.😉

DAMN great photo my dear DAve :kiss::heart::heart:

Thank you Dave.😉

Any shot with your lips and breasts works for me. Nothing wrong with a little artistic license.

Thanks JRP. It turned it into fun again instead of frustration.😀

Your artistic license will never be suspended by me. And I wouldn't mind seeing the out-takes too.

Lol. Thanks. There was only 3 pics in this attempt. The towel didn't fall off in any of them. 😋

Licence to thrill, Icy! :rose::kiss:

Haha. License to turn my frustration into fun again.

Thank you Lizzie. I think you give me too much credit.😊

Lol. Yep I saw it.

Showersheba is a great name, and the pic is great too.

Thanks MsG. It occurred to me that ShowerSheila would have been better but oops too late! Lol

GREAT PIC!

Thank you :) (You always shout!)

Nume, you look marvelous in this shot and two thumbs up for the added touch of realism with shower spray

Thank you, Jordan. I wanted to try with the shower head the other way up, but it was difficult enough as it was to keep the water off my coat!

Beautiful rendition, Numi. It's fun to see the different improvisation you ladies come up with.

Thank you, JRP. Part of the fun for me is working out how to do it in a way that is true to the original but interpretative, and that I'm happy enough works for the particular peculiarities of my body. Some come out better than others - I think we'd all say that!

The shower spray shows up well enough--well enough not to distract from the ravishing model.:rose:

Ooh, ravishing, I'll take that, thank you Mr G!

I think it is a very nice, modern interpretation. I love the colours of this and the lines of your body.

Thank you, Lizzie! Hehe, monochrome bathroom, eh? Saves on editing ;) I did actually monochrome the image at one point, which I quite liked, but then I remembered that the original was highly colourful!

I do like this it has the essence of the picture in a modern setting. I agree about the shower spray, but that was always going to be difficult with the background and lighting.

Thank you, Mr Fryer. I hadn't really thought about the modernness of the setting when I posed, I was just thinking of the water, but you're right. :)

Unveiling a very nice pose, I think. Nothing disappointing about it.

Thank you, Ms G!
